TB Skin Testing
TB skin testing is done on a walk-in basis every weekday EXCEPT
THURSDAY between 1:30 and 4:00 p.m. Clients must return the Health
Department within 48 to 72 hours after the test to have the result
read and recorded. The cost of TB skin testing is
$10.00. Please be aware that holiday schedules can alter the days
that testing can be done.
Head Lice Checks
Head Lice checks are offered every
weekday between 1:30 and 4:00 p.m. People with a valid Medicaid
card, needing treatment, must be seen at the health department
before a prescription can be called in. Over the counter treatment
products can be purchased at the time of visit from the Health
Department for $10.00.
Blood
Pressure Screening
Blood Pressure checks are available on
a walk-in basis every
weekday afternoon between 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm. This is a free service.
Blood
Glucose Screening
Blood glucose (sugar) tests are offered
every weekday afternoon
between 1:30 and 4:00p.m. The cost for the screening is $5.00.
Pregnancy
Testing
Urine pregnancy tests are offered every weekday afternoon
(except on Wednesdays) between 1:30
and 4:00p.m. . Henry County Health Department
Family Planning program receives funding through a grant from the
Ohio Department of Health and Title X funding to provide this
service. The cost for pregnancy testing is determined by an income
based sliding scale. Medicaid is also accepted. For information call

HIV Testing
Oral HIV testing is offered every weekday afternoon
(except on Wednesdays)
between 1:30 and 4:00p.m. Testing can be anonymous or confidential.

Emergency
Contraception
Emergency contraception is available every weekday afternoon
(except for Wednesdays) between 1:30
and 4:00p.m . Emergency Contraception is
indicated to prevent pregnancy in the event of unprotected
intercourse within the past 120 hours. Emergency contraception works
by preventing ovulation; it will not harm an established pregnancy.

Family
Planning Refill
Contraceptive refills and counseling are provided
every
weekday afternoon
(except for Wednesdays) between 1:30 and 4:00pm .
